Futbol as Football Series: #ASAïnM'lila from the #LigueProfessionelle2 of #Algeria
Another thank you from a visitor to our site from Algeria.
I chose l'ASAM (#ASAM) because of their cooooooool #Scorpion badge! Most of the other squads in both Ligue1 and Ligue2 didn't catch my attention as much as the Scorpions did. Their first strip is pretty cool, but their SECOND strip with gradient checker pattern is sweeeeet as!
This was deciding factor #2 in choosing this squad.
While doing so, especially with them having a Scorpion as their "mascot" and both stripes and checkers for designs, I knew I had to do at least try to go in a unusual direction.
I knew I didn't want to copy the #StuttgartScorpions or follow paths which I have done for stripes and checkers.
Soooooo... I mixed stripes and checkers together. I did use a circle behind a scorpion for the helmet with the Circle being off center.
For my "Generic Concept", I set up my "Real World Concept" with the stripe & checker concept on front and back. I did put the team's name in Arabic on the inside collar for the "Generic" and wasn't able to do it on the "Real World". The pant/helmet stripes are different because I polished what I created first. I also kept the #TeamNameOnBack just like the squad does in real life.
I went with Healy Sportswear for the "Real World Concept" using their Anbock Jersey and Hornets Pant templates. I also chose Healy because they do great work with sublimation.
This is going to be either a HIT or a tragic MISS. I hope you enjoy!

I used EvcenFah's graphic for my design. You can find it here.
Futbol as Football Series: Kaya FC from the United Football Leauge from the Philippines.
We've had a few folks from the Philippines visit the blog and this is a big ole "Thank You" to you!
The founders of Kaya FC were heavily influenced by Raggae music and can be seen in the clubs colors red, green, yellow and black.
Kaya's crest is fairly simple and I decided to search DeviantART and the web for possible symbols to represent the club. One of the biggest symbols from Bob Marley and Raggae is the "Lion of Judah". It was pretty tough to sift through the results and find something that was suitable.
The Helmet Lion is from wall art and the original file is here. The Transformer-type symbol is a variation of Chrispy Dubstep's symbol created by Peanut91xD which you can find at DeviantART.
For the "generic" template I kept with Kaya's home kit with slim hoops on the front for both the home and away uniforms. I stuck with a simple pant stripe down the side and Green, Yellow and Red stripes on the Lids and socks.
LGR Athletics makes Kaya's kits and I decided that a corollary would be Healy Sportswear. They have a massive catalog to choose from and choose I did. I used Healy's Barracuda Jersey template and a hybrid of their Bronco and Arizona Knights pants. I didn't use the microhoops on the "Real World" template because I wanted something that stood apart from the soccer kit.
I'm crazy like that.

Futbol as Football Series: AS Riviere du Rempart from the Mauritian League.
This is a shout out to our lone visitor from the island nation of Mauritius!
I was searching through the teams within the Top Flight of Mauritian football and I came across the the Young Eagles which looked like a fun squad to concept! I converted the squad's badge into what you see to your left for the Helmets.
This one has taken me quite a bit longer to do than most concepts. When I discover a team to do I always have a Real World template to convert my designs into. I couldn't find a uniform manufacturer for Riviere's kits so I went with an underutilized football manufacturer Healy. With each manufacturer I use, I try to convert their designs into Tim E O'Brien's football uniform template.
For my generic design I decided on an Asymmetrical pattern for something completely different! This proved my choice of Healy to be on point! Healy has a few asymmetrical designs which I think you can take my pattern and convert it easily. Heck, Healy has options for sublimated uniforms which makes the sky the limit to what you want to do.
In order to get my Real World design you would have to adapt Healy's Bulldog/San Leandro and Riders jersey templates with WIldmill/Thunders/Rempart/Anbock Pants. Hey, Healy - you can call this the Rempart!
