Futbol as Football Series: Al-Baqa'a Club

Futbol as Football Series: #AlBaqaaClub from the #JordanLeague of #Jordan

Another #TipOfTheHat to our visitor from the country of #Jordan.

I dug into the teams from the top two tiers and settled upon the Al Baqa'a Club due to their nickname, "The Black Horse". The team has had pretty basic looking kits and this year's #Jako kits have a bit of simple piping on the front.

This seemed to be a squad where I could go completely experimental and see what happens.

I created an total EXPERIMENTAL yoke (Hat tip to my buddy #C+ I did use your designs as inspiration for this concept).

WHOA! I'm not sure if I'm sold on that design yet it is eye catching...

                    I hope

I then created a second Yoke design with a gradient #Hummel-style chevron running down the shoulders with a double piping on the "Generic Concept".

In the past I've used Rawlings and Wilson as "Real World" corollaries, yet neither one had a good crossover template to be used with my Generics. I could have used UnderArmor yet I chose to go with an outfit from #Austria called #KNoah. Seing some of their work across Denmark (Søllerød Gold Diggers), Germany (Many teams across different levels of #AmericanFootball), Czech Republic (Ostrava Steelers), and I was impressed.

For my extremely experimental design I used K-Noah's Performance Basic Jersey with their Proline Game Pants FGP07. For my less experimental concept I went with K-Noah's Proline Game Jersey FGJ01 / Proline Game Pants FGP04.

The helmet logo I purchased from #Fotosearch and adapted it for this concept.

Futbol as Football Series: FK Atlantas

Futbol as Football Series: FK Atlantas from the Lithuanian A Lyga.

This is a big ole "Thank You" to the folks from Lithuania who have visited the blog recently. The next countries I intend to do concepts from are the Philippines and India. I've had quite a few visitors from that neck of the woods and I need to show them some love.

A Lyga has a few cool club crests. Check out FK Lietava Jonava and FC Stumbras for starters. When I came across Atlantas', as you can figure out, I was hooked!

A SEAHORSE! I haven't worked with a seahorse before and thought this was a perfect fit for my wild mind despite doing Blue and Gold several times before.

I removed the futbol from their current badge for the helmet decal. I tried to replicate the "ATLANTAS" from the badge for a chest plate and fleshed out the club's Seahorse for a shoulder crest.

I adapted the squad's Jako kit for my "generic template" keeping the company's 5 circle symbol on the shoulders and the pants. I used the club's wave from the crest and placed it behind the Seahorse on the shoulders.

Last time I did a Jako club I used Rawlings as a corollary. Since I used Rawlings for my last project, and for this concept I went with Wilson. I used Wilson's Corvalis template for the jersey and their FCP39 for the pants.

Futbol as Football Series: SC Heerenveen

Futbol as Football Series: Sportclub Heerenveen from the Dutch Eredivisie.

This is one of my favorite kits! I love the Clubs' use of the Frisian flag on their uniforms and I have been waiting to take this one on!

They're nicknamed the Super Frisians for Pete's SAKE!

Blue Stripes, Red Water Lilly leaves, a fantastic shield: daggum I dig their main kit!

Jako is the uniform manufacturer for Heerenveen and have been for quite a few seasons. The 2015-16 Jako chest stripes are too much on the striped first jersey yet look great on their second jersey. In my reasearch  I chose the squad's 2012-13 away jersey for the team's Third Kit.

My "Real World" concepts are based on Rawlings templates. The Striped First and Black Third would be custom Divergent uniforms with the use of sublimation. I used the center stripe from the '12-13 season as if it were a "Wordmark" with the numbers on the left chest. My alternate first is a customized Hawk template/ISO 147 template with Carbon Block jerseys for the seconds. I kept the pants uniform by using the GLP0909 template.

The fonts I have used are Basic for the numbers and Paragon Black for the Name on Back.

OH! the Water Lilly symbol goes great on the helmet, doesn't it?
